Where do we find the time?

I will admit that I browse blogs from time to time, and I can't for the life of me imagine where these people find the time for this.

As you can see from my blog, like my myspace, facebook, and even my desk at home, these things are collecting dust.

It could be the result of my own form of introversion, where I tend to absorb rather than regurgitate. But maybe its the fact that I've spent so much of my life in front of computers in one form or another, that I really try to avoid them as much as possible now.

One of my guilty pleasures is to tell my clients that "My computer is broken, sorry I can't really help you right now," because it gives me a breather that doesn't cost me a plane ticket.

I think the reason it's taken me this long to actually make a true blog is the name; blog. The name puts me in mind of a forceful involuntary evacuation of my insides, which in many ways is true. Outside the realm of journalism, a blog is a rough draft that puts on the front of a final publish. In many cases, they can be diamonds in the rough in the truest sense; a candid look into the mind of the author. In most cases, like this, it's just rambling in print.

Anyhow, the initial motivation for this blog was from one of my professors as part of an assignment. I'm not sure where this will go, but I'm sure I'll enjoy the trip.

For those interested in what I've got to say, I'm open to requests, but make sure to tip generously!
